Lego Star Wars: The Video Game is based on the prequel trilogy of Star Wars which includes: Phantom Menace, Attack Of The Clones, and Revenge Of The Sith.

The Game contains many Things which are not in the movies such as...

Episode I-

Coruscant is not featured. In the end cutscene of Retake Theed Palace, Padme is wearing her Tatooine clothing rather than the battle clothing she wears while playing the level. Darth Maul, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan do not take off their capes during the respective boss level. In fact in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Yoda never take their capes off.

Episode II-

This segment of the game starts on Kamino, while the film starts on Coruscant. In the level "Discovery On Kamino", as soon as Obi-Wan meets Jango, he and Boba run to the Slave I. R4-P17 has a body, and comes with Obi-Wan inside Tipoca City, while in the movie, she doesn't even have a body. In the game the characters rescue Obi-Wan before being captured in the droid factory.

Episode III-

Yoda is attacked by his clones in a similar way to Luminara rather than the clones sneaking up on him. In the level "Ruin of the Jedi", the character "Disguised Clone" does not appear in the movie, however they do appear in the book of the film. In the film, the Clone Troopers all attack the moment they see the Jedi.

Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is the sequel to Lego Star Wars: The Video Game. While more accurate to the Star Wars story and more humerous it lacks in the originality of the first game.
